What's in the box: Glasses, case, cleaning cloth, guarantee card, guarantee booklet

I know that technically these are not "sunglasses" but ever since seeing a magazine ad for them I had to have them. I have always had a hard time driving at night because of the glare from oncoming cars. After searching for awhile and not being able to find them, I finally found and purchased these glasses online.

Quality / Finish
There are not much to these glasses, they are comprised of rubber arms and frameless lenses held together by a titanium piece across the nose. It is this simplicity that I really find attractive. All metal pieces are titanium with a polished finish and look high quality. They attach with a connection through the lenses. The lenses are thick with crisp edges that are slightly rounded. The arms being rubber are the only thing that detracts from the glasses overall beauty.

Durability
The arms are rubber with an internal wire frame. They give resistance when bent back, but will stay at whatever shape they are molded to. This can lead to arms that look like they were ran over. The titanium piece across the nose and the pieces that attach the arms to the lenses are rigid and do not give when twisted. The glasses are light weight, but still feel strong.

Comfort / Wearability
Because of the lightweight nature of the materials you can easily forget that you are wearing these glasses. The rubber arms provide the right amount of tension on your temples so that no fatigue occurs, but there is also no worry of them ever coming off.

Tint – Visibility Balance
The yellow color of the lenses provide contrast in dark conditions, while allowing in all the available light. Also, a coating on the lenses reduces glare. While driving at night with these glasses on I can feel a reduced amount of eye strain. I have even used these with working on the computer for long periods of time.

Peripheral Vision
Because the lenses are frameless and of adequate size, these glasses provide the best peripheral vision without any obstruction.

Lens Coverage
Again, because the lenses are curved and the perfect size for my eyes, the lens coverage is great.

Accessories
Now the downside. The case that comes with the glasses is too small. You have to bends the arms all the way in and since the arms are not hinged, you have to provide too much effort to get the case closed. The case itself is of good quality, with a smooth soft feel on the outside and a suede look and feel on the inside. The cleaning cloth is of substantial thickness, though maybe just a bit undersized.

Conclusion
While do not expect any miracles with the night vision name, these glasses do provide assistance to people with poor night eyesight. I can definitely tell a difference when I slip these on before driving home from work at night, especially under wet conditions. The price is definitely at the high end of the range, but the quality just might be worth it.
